Swami Ranganathananda (1908–2005), the 13th President of the Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission, was one of the great modern exponents of practical Vedanta. Revered internationally for his powerful lectures, intellectual breadth, and ability to relate Vedanta to science, ethics, and modern culture, he inspired seekers across the world through both his spoken and written works. He also guided large numbers of spiritual aspirants and remains one of the Order’s most widely admired modern teachers.
