Swami Tyagananda

Ramakrishna Vedanta Society (Boston)

Swami Tyagananda is a monk of the Ramakrishna Order and head of the Ramakrishna Vedanta Society in Boston. He served previously in Mumbai, Belur Math, New Delhi, and Chennai, came to the Boston branch in 1998, and has served as Hindu chaplain at Harvard and MIT since 1999; he became head of the Society in 2002. He is known as a thoughtful teacher, writer, editor, and spiritual guide.
